How Are New Treatments and Diagnostic Tests Developed?
Researchers rely on people like you to help pave the way for breakthroughs. Whether you choose to donate samples such as blood, urine, and saliva, or take part in a paid medical study, your contribution is essential in helping researchers discover new treatments and diagnostic tools. Together, we can accelerate progress in medical research:
To achieve these advancements, researchers need people like you to participate in Paid Medical Study.

Basic
Basic research aims to understand the biological process such as identifying a protein related to a disease, characterizing its activity, and designing a way to prevent it from causing disease.
Translational
Translational research takes the findings in basic research and refines for clinical applications. For example, if a compound was found to inhibit a protein’s activity that caused disease, many more iterations of the compound would be tested and analyzed to optimize for efficacy and safety.
Clinical
Clinical research studies how diagnostics, treatments, and interventions work in people. This stage of research is highly regulated to ensure participants safety. An example is monitoring efficacy and side effects of a new drug before being approved for widespread use.
Sanguine bridges the gap between individuals and the medical research community by connecting people to studies including paid medical study that enhance understanding and treatment of specific conditions.
Medical research progresses through essential phases to ensure the safety and effectiveness of new therapies, treatments, or devices. These phases include basic, translational, and clinical research. Each stage builds upon the last, contributing to the development of breakthroughs in healthcare.
Ready to Get Started? Here’s What Happens Next:
We're excited that you're interested in participating in research studies! Signing up is simple, and here's what you can expect:
- Screening: After you sign up for a study including a paid medical study, a research coordinator will reach out for a quick 10–15 minute phone screening. Since each study has specific requirements, this helps us find the perfect match for you. During this call, we'll ask about your health and demographic details. Your honest answers are key, and we guarantee that your information will be handled with the highest level of confidentiality.
- Informed Consent & Documentation: Informed consent ensures that you understand your rights as a participant. We’ll guide you through the process, making sure you're comfortable with everything before moving forward.
- Appointment: Once everything is set, we’ll schedule an at-home visit with one of our certified mobile medical professionals or you will go to our apheresis center depending upon the type of sample collection.
- Compensation: After your appointment, you’ll receive a prepaid card as compensation. Even more rewarding, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you’ve contributed to advancing scientific research through your participation in a paid medical study!
